Belgium have been the dark horses for a last few world cups and come as one of the favorites in this world cup. They did their best in 1986 when Scifo ruled the midfield and was awarded the young player of the tournament. They have a balanced team with De Bruyne in the midfield.England have often stumbled at the knock-out stages in major tournaments.Less expectations on the team may prove helpful for them.First timer Panama may have a point to prove and Tunisia would want to get into the knock-out stage for the first time.
Belgium
Belgium made their way to the World cup quite like Germany by slamming 42 goals and not losing a single match. The eternal dark horse is coming for their 13th world cup with a best of semis in 1986.Kompany and Vertonghen lead their defence while their biggest star is their playmaker Kevin De Bruyne. The midfield star is Felliani with Nainggolan missing out and their forward line is a blockbuster with Lukaku,Mertens, Batshuayi and Eden Hazard. They are good enough to go the full distance provided their midfield and forwards click. They are coached by Spaniard Roberto Martinez.
Tunisia
Another fifth timer who are yet to go beyond the group stage. Most of their major players play in Ligue 1 or the Arabian Leagues.Interesting prospects are Dijon’s Sliti and Rennes’ Khazri. They are coached by former Tunisian player Nabil Maaloul.
Panama
Panama is a first timer for the World cup and you can expect such exuberance & excitement in their game. They are a surprise entry from the Concacaf region. They play defensively and rely on counter attacks.Their main strikers Blas Perez and Luis Tejada are aged 37 and 36 respectively.Other important players are Roman Torres in defence & Gabriel Torres in attack along with their most capped player Gabriel Gomez in the midfield.Former Ecuador and Colombian coach Hernan Dario Gomez nicknamed 'The Baton' who had previously successfully made them both qualify for the World cup now coaches Panama.
England
England qualified by not losing a single match but scored only 18 goals. The 1966 champions is in their 15th World Cup.Their biggest star is their striker Harry Kane. Its a great opportunity for Harry Kane to negate the taunt,100 goals and no trophies, though he has still time for that.Their forward line also consists of Rashford,Sterling,Vardy and Wellbeck.Their midfield has young Dele alli and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.Their defence is led by Gary Cahill along with Kylie Walker and Phil Jones. They had lost to Iceland in Euro.Their next round possibility may depend on how they manage their game with Tunisia. They are coached by former England player Gareth Southgate.
