1972 Rani Chandra
Rani Chandra was the first Miss Kerala who acted in films.She was crowned as Miss Kerala in 1972 in a beauty paegant which does not have any connection present Miss Kerala Paegant which began in 1999.Her debut film was Anchu Sundarikal and she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1975 movie Swapnadanam.She died in a plane crash in 1976.
2000 Ranjini Haridas
Ranjini Haridas shot to fame with music based reality show in a Malayalam channel which led her to becoming one of the (if not the most) popular host for live shows intended primarily for malayalee audience.She made her movie debut in China Town, a 2011 malayalam movie and did the female lead for 2013 malayalam movie Entry.
2005 Pooja Ramachandran
Pooja Ramachandran,the second runner up in Miss Kerala 2005 and Miss Coimbatore 2004 acted mostly in tamil movies with a few malayalam movies to her credit as well.She was a model and VJ before she ventured into acting.One of her popular roles is that of the American citizen in Deepu Anthikad's movie 'Lucky Star'.
2008 Rima Kallingal
Rima,the first runner up in Miss Kerala 2008 made her acting debut in Shyamaprasad's Ritu and shot to fame with Aashiq Abu's movie 22FK.She also won the Kerala State Award for Best Actress for her role in the movie.She later married the director of the movie Aashiq Abu.She has also been appreciated for her roles in Nidra,August Club etc.
2010 Indhu Thampi
Indhu Thampi,Miss Kerala 2010 was supposed to have 'Anabella' directed by yester-year actress Ambika as her debut but her debut release was Father's Day.She married her co-actor Kishore from her unfinished movie .She later ventured into television channel serials,which was not very fruitful either.
2012 Deepthi Sati
Deepti Sati,Miss Kerala 2012 and Navy Queen 2013 and a winner of Miss Talented and Iron Maiden titles in Femina Miss India 2014 made her acting debut with Lal Jose's Malayalam Movie Nee-Na (2015) and was appreciated by Director Lal Jose himself for her commitment and passion.
2014 Gayatri Suresh
Gayatri,winner of 2014 Miss Kerala title made her movie debut in Kunchako Boban starrer Jamnapyari ,released for Onam 2015.
